Today I wanted to share with you some of my favourite newsletters written by bloggers and tell you about my new look newsletter that is launching this Sunday. Recently, I have really been enjoying reading the newsletters I’m subscribed to. Many of them land in my inbox on a Sunday morning, so I make a cup of tea and get reading. What I love the most is that they share something that I can’t find on their blog or social media which makes the newsletter seem even more personal. What’s more, they are a great way to get to know my favourite bloggers more. So without further ado here are my favourite ones. Scroll to the bottom to find out about my new look newsletter and subscribe.
Awesome Newsletters You Should Be Subscribed To
Pack Your Passport
I’ve been reading Beverley’s newsletter since she first started it a year or so back and I love every second of it. She tends to share a personal essay with you about something that has been on her mind lately and then some awesome reads from around the web. Her links tend to be things I wouldn’t have found otherwise which means I get to find new blogs or read exciting articles. Lastly, Beverley drops the odd quote in to motivate you for the week ahead.
Sophie Cliff – The Weekly Pep Talk
Again I’ve been reading Sophie’s newsletter since she created it last year. The minute I open it up, it’s like a friend filling me in on the week she’s had and then getting deep in to something that’s on her mind. Called the Weekly Pep Talk for a reason, each newsletter is packed full of motivational talk, make you think questions and that positive vibe you need to go get sh*t done. Sophie also links to her favourite reads from the week and again these often include things I haven’t read before.
Rhianna Olivia – The Uncool Club
The Uncool Club is only on it’s third issue but I am loving this exciting newsletter. Rhianna shares images from the hashtag she is using on Instagram #theuncoolclub as well as a relevant article about life and not having a bloody clue what your doing. The latter could be by Rhianna herself or ‘other uncool people’ (her words not mine). Like the rest she also shares her favourite articles from around the web. This newsletter is a bi-weekly thing so it makes it super easy to keep up with.
Sam Sparrow
Sam’s email is a little more travel focused than the rest of those listed above and I think that’s why I love it so much. She shares some of her tips and tricks on travelling, the latest from her podcast and blog and goes in depth into a destination of her choice. I love reading this email because of Sam’s fun and lighthearted voice that comes across in each episode. It feels like I’m just reading an email from a friend.
The Travel Hack
Continuing with the travel themed newsletters, another of my favourites is Monica’s newsletter. Every time it lands in my inbox it’s like having a little catch up with a friend I haven’t spoken to in a while. I have to admit I don’t always have time to keep up with every post on The Travel Hack but when I read her newsletter I feel like all the blanks are filled in. I also love that she shares additional things in her inbox that don’t make it to the blog.
You can sign up on her website.
Paper Planes and Caramel Waffles – Sunday Sessions
Finally, the last newsletter that I cannot wait to drop into my inbox is the Sunday Sessions. Emma does a great job getting this out so often and it’s always packed full of inspiration and tips. Her newsletter tends to catch you up on what she has been doing which makes me want to make the most of every spare minute more. She also shares with you some of her favourite links, her recent blogs and a favourite destination.
Finally, introducing my new newsletter…
The Little Travel Note
I’ve had a newsletter for a long while now but I mostly used it to tell you what I’d been doing the previous month instead of posting it onto my blog. However, since September I’ve totally failed at sending out any newsletters. I guess I lost direction and made excuses about my lack of time. But no more.
The Little Travel Note will come out every month to start with (it might go bi-weekly if I have lots to say) and will feature travel tips, advice and general travel musings that don’t make it into a full blog post. Trust me I have so many half written blogs on my phone that won’t ever make it into a full post and cannot wait to share with you. I’ll also be sharing my favourite travel reads from the past month and focusing on a specific destination. Lastly, it’ll be a place I first share any big news I have.
Yay, I’ve signed up to your newsletter Jodie! Can’t wait for the first one 🙂 x
