Instagrammers That Are Giving Me Wanderlust

#thisweekendiam and Other Weekend Inspiration

I’ve said it a few times lately, about how much I’m loving Instagram at the moment despite some of the bad rep it is getting. Yes it is hella annoying that it doesn’t go in chronological order or that I don’t always see my favourite ‘grammers but there are ways and means around that. Namely a tip I heard from Sam Sparrow on What She Said Podcast about creating a collection with all your faves and then you can easily navigate to their grid to check out their latest photos.

What I do love about Instagram is the inspiration I get from looking at my feed, I follow so many amazing accounts but these travel accounts are some of my favourite at the moment. They fill me with wanderlust and make me want to get off my butt and go exploring. Something that is pretty important when our lives are busy and it’s hard to make time to sit down for lunch let alone take a walk outside. What’s more they all happen to be awesome ladies.

Instagrammers to follow for immediate wanderlust

Adventure Han

Hannah is currently living in Vancouver and exploring lots of her surrounding areas of Canada. Prior to that she was living in a van and travelling the USA. So currently her grid is a wash of blues and greens of her adventures outdoors and it just makes me wanna jump in my car with my tent.

Wanderlust Chloe

Chloe’s grid is not dis-similar to Hannah’s, they both love travelling and having adventures. Chloe’s is very much a mix of different countries and different types of adventures though. From beautiful cityscapes to the great outdoors you’ll find something that will give you a bad case of wanderlust on her grid.

Flying the Nest – Jess Valentine

Jess from Flying the Nest has an incredible grid with photos from places very high up on my bucket list. Being part of a travel blogger couple she has Stephen on hand to snap awesome shots like the one below. There is something about seeing someone in a shot that gives me added wanderlust. This is one profile that never fails to inspire me.

Erin Sullivan

Erin’s photography is some of my favourite of all the people I follow on Instagram. Not only that but she is a lover of outdoor adventures and getting out of your comfort zone, exactly what you need to ignite that wanderlust and inspire you to see more of this world. Erin’s feed shows off the world in its natural beauty and best light.

Girl vs Globe

Sabrina’s feed has so many amazing photos and she prides herself in making sure she is in most of them. There is something about seeing someone, similar to yourself, in a photo that makes you think ‘hey I could go have that adventure’. Expect to see everything from city breaks to outdoor adventures on her feed. Sabrina also has a second Instagram account where she reposts her favourite images with the hashtag #girlsvsglobe, it’s also a dream to look at.

The Travelista

Jess’ grid is not only full of images that give me wanderlust but images that inspire me to actually buy some new clothes and dress a little more fashionable from time to time. Each image tells a different story and the colours are always thought through. Again you’ll find everything from city breaks to beach holidays on Jess’ grid.

Sophie Cliff

So Sophie is kinda an anomaly to this list as she isn’t just a travel blogger and wanderlust inspiration. She is also a lifestyle blogger and someone who gives you serious lust for life. Her posts (be sure to read the caption) often give me a kick up the butt to go grab life by two hands and live it to the max. However, she also keeps it real and knows that isn’t how life is everyday. Definitely one of the most relatable accounts I follow.

I have a love hate relationship with Instagram. I’ve found that it helps me take more pictures of my life and take note of the things around me. However enagagement on the site is rubbish. Although I have to say. I love scrolling through and seeing people’s amazing feeds.

I try to not look at my engagement too much so I don’t get disheartened and just focus of looking at other people’s amazing feeds!
