The Garden Of Unearthly Delights – Photo Essay

The Garden Of Unearthly Delights is my personal favourite of the fringe venues. Located on the East side of the CBD not far from the Botanic Gardens and right by the Fringe Box Office central – i.e where the blue lazers are being projected from. The garden its self is transformed from the mundane park it is for the other 11 months of the year and during the fringe becomes what I can only describe as an Alice in Wonderland playground. With tents and huts built to house the acts and events going on – every night there is something to see. And by night when the lights come on, the place comes alive it energy and buzz and well lights. There’s fairy lights in the trees, in the bushes, on the tents… they are everywhere giving the illusion this garden is some kind of magical adventure land. Unfortunately for this year you have missed a chance to see the Garden of Unearthly Delights, but there is always next year. Enjoy the pictures and check out more here.
