This post in the first in a series of photos of Scotland from my road trip in March.
The landscape in Scotland blew me away. Now I’d like to think I’ve seen a good variety in my last few years of travelling but nothing prepared me for what I found in my own home country during our road trip around Scotland in March 2014. The mountains start a few hours north of Glasgow and they just don’t stop. It is such a incredible landscape especially as they were still snow covered when we visited. I think my favourite have to be the Cuillin Mountains on the Isle of Skye, they are the ones pictured nearer the bottom of this page.
Beautiful! Have to agree about Skye. I was there for a week in May – just before the midgies(!). All of Skye is like a photographer’s dream!
Wow, this is some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen. I need to visit Scotland, after all I’m only in England, so I have no excuse when I’m in the UK for some holiday time.
